| Ronnie
Roberts Senior Minister |
Ronnie joined First Christian in 1995 as the Youth and Family Minister. He worked in that capacity for eight years until pursuing a preaching minister position. Although he is new to the senior position he has 20 years of experience in youth ministry. As you could imagine Ronnie stays busy with weekly sermons, pastoral care and other outreach opportunities. He also works along side the elders of our congregation to provide spiritual direction to First Christian Church. Ronnie is married to Linda and together they have two sons and two daughters. |
Kurt Rovenstine Associate Minister of Youth and Family

Kurt joined First Christian Church in September 2004 as the new Associate Minister of Youth and Family. Kurt graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a degree in Ministerial Studies. Before joining First Christian, Kurt was a youth minister in Covina, California and Lawrence, Kansas. He was also a senior minister at Junction City Wesleyan Church. Kurt's focus is on being a help and support to youth and families. Kurt is married to Deb (the secretary!) and has two daughters. |
| Eric
VonSpreckelsen Worship Minister |
Eric joined First Christian Church in July 2008 as the new Worship Minister. Eric graduated from Nebraska Christian College with degrees in Church Music and Pastoral Studies. Before coming to Junction City, Eric was the Director of Housing and a Guitar Professor at Nebraska Christian College. Eric is married to Bridget and they have one daughter. |
| Deb
Rovenstine Secretary |
Deb became the new secretary on June 1, 2004. For the previous six years she worked at the elementary school that her children attended. Deb is married to Kurt (the associate minister!) and they have two daughters. |
| Roxie
Johnston Accompanist |
Roxie joined First Christian when she was 10 years old and is the daughter of Dulcye Haslett. She married her high school sweetheart Ken in 1971, and they have two grown children. Roxie graduated from nursing school in 1974, completed her graduate degree in 1993, and worked in the health department, a private office and Irwin Army Community Hospital. In 2000, she resigned from nursing to work with her husband in their sanitation business. Roxie has been faithfully serving as accompanist at First Christian since 1974. |
| Dennis
Wood Custodian |
Dennis joined First Christian in 1982 and shortly thereafter assumed the position of custodian. He has been faithful to this church through the years by maintaining our grounds and building and to this community by preparing our church for weddings, funerals and various social gatherings. Dennis is married to Lois. |
