Sunday School

We offer Sunday School classes for all age ranges and we strive to offer options for our adult classes. Here are the Sunday School classes that currently meet.

Nursery
Infants and children learn about love and trust in a safe and caring environment. Our goal is to provide parents with peace of mind so that they can freely worship God.

2 and 3 year olds
This class uses learning centers, music and Bible lessons to teach them about God’s love. We try to develop social skills in family living and in loving, sharing and obeying God’s Word.

4 and 5 year olds
Children will hear a lesson about a Bible character and what can be learned from that character. Lessons cover topics like caring, making wise choices and loving each other. Crafts are also used to help reinforce the lesson.

Kindergarten Children will journey through Bible stories, Bible verses, Bible skills, and life skills. They will develop positive attitudes toward God, Jesus, the church, and others.

Grades 1-2
Hands-on learning experiences help children become better acquainted with God’s Word and how to apply it to their lives.

Grades 3-5
A variety of resources are used in learning centers and small groups to help students know Jesus as a personal friend. Students learn to love and obey Jesus and share Him with others.

Middle School
Students will develop the foundation needed to get them through any situation in life. Each study looks at a different topic and points students to a personal relationship with Jesus.

High School
This class studies different topics and leads students to a personal relationship with Jesus.

Adult Electives:

9:00 AM - "Elijah: A Man Like Us" by David Roper - This class is taught by Mark Roeser and meets in the chapel. Learn how you can be used by God despite your shortcomings.

9:00 AM - Young Adults - This class is taught by Juliet Bullock and meets in the room 115-117. This class is studying the book of Esther.

10:30 AM - Christian Growth & Experience- This class is taught by Bud Mooney and meets in room 115-117. This is a study of phases of Christian growth and experience.

10:30 AM - Christian Examples - This class is taught by Frances Graham and meets in the chapel. This is a study of Christian examples from the New Testament.
